Krimml Waterfalls

Masses of water plunge down an incredible 380 metres across three steep steps, creating an impressive spectacle of nature: the Krimml Waterfalls attract visitors from all over the world. Here, a four-kilometre hiking trail with vantage points and pulpits takes you very close to Europe‘s highest waterfalls.

Mozart City of Salzburg

Salzburg combines culture and art. As Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s home town, it is still a centre of classical music today, yet leaves plenty of room for modern urban life between Mozart's birthplace, Hellbrunn Zoo and Hohensalzburg Fortress. From Zell am See-Kaprun, you can easily reach the city by train or car in just under 1.5 hours: Ideal for a short visit and shopping spree in the state capital!

Eisriesenwelt

South of Salzburg, in the Tennen Mountains, you will find an extraordinary destination: the world’s largest ice cave. Unlike stalactite caves, there are very few ice caves in the world that are open to visitors. The size of the Eisriesenwelt near Werfen is very impressive. However, its gigantic underground labyrinth and unique ice formations are the real attractions. Here you can take part in a guided tour through the cave system, which takes you about a kilometre into the cave.

Ferleiten Wildlife & Adventure Park

This is where the heart of animal lovers beats faster: in the Ferleiten Wildlife and Adventure Park, you can watch up to 200 animals of different species that are native to the Alps. After the discovery tour - which, by the way, is also suitable for prams - the sun terrace of the quaint wildlife park alpine pasture beckons, while the youngest let off steam on the more than 40 pieces of playground equipment in the adventure park.

New since 2024: The indoor Black Light Mini Golf! 19 artistically designed courses with impressive 3D effects, which can be admired with special glasses, await you.

Grossglockner High Alpine Road

The journey is the destination: this is definitely true with this excursion destination. Close to Zell am See-Kaprun, a marvel of road construction awaits you in the middle of an impressive alpine landscape: the Grossglockner High Alpine Road is a world of experience that takes you, turn by turn, deeper and deeper into the high mountains. You reach the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe and the Pasterzen glacier via the Fuscher Törl and the Hochtor. Take your time to enjoy this unique panorama!

Salzwelten Salzburg & Celtic Mountain

Here you go on an interactive journey back to medieval times and the Celtic period: in the Salzburg Salzwelten, you are on the trail of the "essence of life" and explore the four eras of salt mining underground. On the associated Celtic Mountain, you visit the Celtic village and the salt manufactory. A themed playground is the highlight for the youngest.
