This IRONMAN event in SalzburgerLand in Austria is a top-class sports event: in this challenging triathlon, athletes from all over the world compete against the impressively beautiful natural backdrop of glacier, mountain and lake. This variety is particularly evident in the cycling competition. The course leads right through the mountains and was voted Europe’s third most beautiful IRONMAN course by the athletes.

The IRONMAN 70.3 Zell am See Kaprun, Bruck, Maishofen, Piesendorf received the highest award at the IRONMAN Global Athletes' Choice Awards in 2023 in the "Overall Satisfaction Worldwide" category with almost 50,000 participants in the survey.
And in 2024, the IRONMAN 70.3 was again rated highly by the participants: the bike course reached 2nd place in Europe, and in the "Overall Satisfaction" category the race took 4th place. In the "Would recommend the event to a friend" category, the 3rd place was achieved at the IRONMAN Global Athletes' Choice Awards 2024.
