Kitzsteinhorn ski resort
The Kitzsteinhorn glacier offers the longest ski season and a season start as early as October (depending on snow condition). Here you can expect 61 kilometres of pistes of all levels of difficulty and top snow quality, plus five freeride lines and four snow parks as well as a superpipe. Families feel particularly at home on the Maiskogel, which is also part of the Kitzsteinhorn ski resort. With the Kaprun-Maiskogel-Kitzsteinhorn cable car connection, you can float directly from the centre of Kaprun via two cable cars to the Kitzsteinhorn ski resort: A panoramic ride into the midst of high alpine nature! The ascent towards the glacier starts at the MK Maiskogelbahn lower terminus, which can be reached quickly and easily on foot from the village centre or by ski bus.

Schmittenhöhe ski resort
In the ski area in the heart of the ALPIN CARD, winter sports enthusiasts can expect pleasurable experiences for all the senses - called "Dolce Winter" on the Schmittenhöhe!
Zell's local mountain is known as a panoramic and family ski resort: Here, beginners and junior skiers enjoy wide, perfectly groomed family pistes, while ambitious skiers carve on skis downhill on the up to 70 % steep "Trass" run. In addition, many cosy huts with sun terraces and gourmet stations offer enjoyable places to stop for culinary refreshments. The Schmittenhöhe also impresses with unique views of more than 30 three-thousand-metre-high peaks in the region and a fantastic panorama of Lake Zell.
To reach the Schmittenhöhe ski resort quickly and comfortably, there are three access points in Zell am See and a lower terminus in the Glemmtal valley. In addition, the zellamseeXpress takes you directly from the Skicircus to the Schmittenhöhe ski resort.
