areitXpress

In both winter and summer, the areitXpress is the first choice for all mountain enthusiasts who want to reach the Schmittenhöhe quickly from the Schüttdorf district of Zell. The modern gondola lift with WiFi and heated seats takes you uphill to 1,400 metres above sea level in just seven minutes. There is a sports shop and ski school at the upper terminus in winter. If you want, you can test the next downhill run right here or take the gondola further up: Take the Glocknerbahn or the Areitbahn 2, for example. In summer, the areitXpress is also the convenient access point to the Schmittenhöhe hiking area: The "Schmidolin's Baptism of Fire" adventure trail starts from the upper terminus, and you can reach the "E- Motorcross Park" and the "Areit 1400" exhibition from there. And when you get hungry, there is also plenty to choose from: you can treat yourself to a break at the mountain restaurant!
