You will find spiritual peace at the Protestant Church of the Resurrection in Zell am See. The sacred building, which was consecrated in 1958, is open to anyone who is looking for a quiet dialogue with God, would like to attend a service with the congregation or admire the architectural design of the church.

Are you looking for peace and contemplation during your stay in Zell am See? The Protestant Church of the Resurrection is a quiet place of prayer as well as a fascinating sacred building. The church, which was consecrated in 1958, was planned by architect Kurt Glondy and artistically designed by Professor Gustav Resatz. When the foundation stone was laid in 1957, the name of the church was inspired by the statement of a Swedish pastor: "The Risen One is the Lord of history - he has also resurrected a Protestant congregation in Pinzgau". Fittingly, the biblical inscription from the Gospel of John adorns the entrance to the church: "I am the resurrection and the life".
