Vötter's Oldtimer Museum Kaprun

Vötter's Oldtimer Museum Kaprun

Vötters Fahrzeugmuseum, Schloßstraße 32, 5710 Kaprun

Vötter's vehicle museum in Kaprun brings the fascination of past - but never-ending - automotive dreams to life: Here you can marvel at more than 200 exhibits from the 1950s to the 1970s and even older: including tractors, motorbikes, small cars and the largest convertible in the world.

In his museum, Helmut Vötter has created space for the most beautiful memories on 1,400m2: The museum exhibits vehicles that shaped people's lives from the 1950s to the 1970s. It all started 30 years ago with a BMW Isetta: this car was the founding stone for the extensive collection. After that, many vehicles were acquired in poor condition and then lovingly brought back to life. Today, you can admire around 200 exhibits in Vötter's Museum all year round - from cars that perhaps even your parents might have owned to motorbikes, tractors, a steam locomotive from 1893 and everyday objects such as films or furnishings from times gone by.
