Instructions:
- Pour the buttermilk into a glass.
- Add the cranberries jam and stir.
- Enjoy this refreshing drink in the sun by the shores of Lake Zell.
Tip: This combination of creamy buttermilk and fruity cranberries makes for a perfect fall snack in the Zell am See-Kaprun region, as the season of the cranberries is in the fall!
Did You Know? The small red "Granggn," or cranberries, grow on mountain slopes, in dry forests, and also in raised bogs. They are harvested in the fall and usually made into jam. Their slightly sour taste makes them the perfect complement for all kinds of desserts, such as the "Bauernkrapfen". And who knows, maybe you'll discover fresh berries along the path during your next autumn hike in Zell am See-Kaprun. But be careful—only taste them if you're absolutely sure!
